Jammu, Nov 14: Jammu & Kashmir lt governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said that the Union Territory has been experiencing exceptional economic and infrastructural progress since 2019, marking one of the most transformative periods in its history.

Speaking at the valedictory ceremony of the first phase of celebrations commemorating 150 years of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ at Maulana Azad Stadium, the L-G noted that the UT’s growth trajectory has sharply accelerated in recent years.

“The going has never been as good for Jammu & Kashmir in the past as it has been since 2019,” Sinha said, adding that the region’s economy has shown “impressive” expansion since 2021, supported by rapid infrastructure development across sectors.
