ROCHESTER, Minn. — Crews have removed all detours and lane closures at the Interstate 90 and Highway 52 interchange southeast of Rochester, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT). This update means all ramps and roads are now open. Motorists will travel on a new eastbound I-90 bridge and under a new Highway 52 flyover bridge, set to begin operation in 2026. MnDOT thanked drivers for their patience and caution in work zones, which ensured crew safety. The reopening marks the end of year two of a $27.5 million reconstruction project .
