GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said it is investigating after a woman was found dead on Friday morning.

According to officials, an elderly woman was found dead inside a home on Highbourne Drive.

The coroner said it appeared there was a fire in a room of the home.

The woman’s cause of death and identity have not yet been released.
