New York residents dreaming of a white Christmas may be in luck.

The Old Farmer’s Almanac recently issued a Christmas weather travel outlook detailing the forecast for the nation around the beloved holiday. In that outlook, it was revealed that snow is expected to impact the Northeast during the week of Christmas.

Other areas slated to receive snow around that time include the Upper Midwest, Lower Lakes, the eastern Ohio Valley and Alaska, according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac.

While parts of New York may see some snow, those areas downstate, including New York City, may not.
