PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - The U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree will stop in Paducah on its way to Washington, D.C.
You can meet the crew behind the tree, a 53-foot red fir named “Silver Bell,” on Friday, November 14 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Paducah Farmers Market, 306 North 2nd Street.
The tree was at St. Louis Union Station on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Each year, a different National Forest provides the tree for the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.
This year, the tree is from the Carson Ranger District in Nevada’s Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.
