Megadeth have unveiled the song “I Don’t Care” as the second single from the legendary thrash band’s upcoming final album, a self-titled effort set to arrive on January 23rd.
“How many times have you wanted to say this to someone?,” stated frontman Dave Mustaine of the song in a press release. “I know you want to! Deep down inside, if we had the balls, we would tell more people, ‘I don’t care’ more often.”

Mustaine also revealed that the genesis of the song began during the sessions for Megadeth’s previous album, 2022’s The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead! , noting, “Part of the main riff in this track had been floating around in my head since we did TSTD&TD , so I was pumped to start recording ‘I Don’t Care’ for this LP.” Related Video
