(CNN) - Toyota is recalling nearly 127,000 Toyota and Lexus vehicles because of a potential engine failure.
The automaker said debris from the manufacturing process could contaminate the engine and cause main bearing failure.
In turn, that could cause the engine to stall or a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
The recalled vehicles are 2022-24 Toyota Tundra and Lexus LX models and the 2024 Lexus GX with V35A engines.
The vast majority of the vehicles are Tundras.
Toyota said it is still working on a solution. Once a fix is ready, Toyota will perform repairs free of charge.
The recall is an extension of an issue reported last year, in which more than 102,000 Lexus LX models and Tundras were recalled.
