SEVEN HILLS, Ohio -- Padua Franciscan High School senior Helyna Park was recently named Miss Teen USA third runner-up at the 74th annual pageant, held Oct. 24 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nev.

“The entire week was such fun,” said Seven Hills resident Park, 18, who this summer was named Miss Ohio Teen USA 2025.

“I had a blast with all the other girls -- meeting everybody -- and then also having that sense of, OK, I’m prepared, I got this.

“Just rocking the stage and knowing what I need to do and executing it.”

In terms of placing in the 51-entrant competition, Park said going in she just wanted to have fun and let the chips fall where they may.
