The incidents since Monday (November 10) have seen victims aged from 15 to 50 require medical help.

These are only the incidents that Newsquest London is aware of.

The first incident on Tuesday (November 11) saw a police officer get rushed to hospital in Dalston.

Officers were called to reports of a disturbance in Ridley Road, site of a busy market, at 10.30am.

The officer was stabbed in his arm and hand and suffered a fracture to his hand.

He has since been discharged.

The ambulance service also recorded treating a second man at the scene

A 62-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and criminal damage. He remains in custody.

Later the same day, police were called to Leyton at around 8pm.
