John Gibson was back at practice with the Detroit Red Wings the day after leaving a game because of injury.
There was no immediate word on his status, but at the very least it is an encouraging sign that he manned one of the nets during practice on Friday, Nov. 14. He left Thursday's 6-3 victory over the Anaheim Ducks after two periods with what coach Todd McLellan said was an "upper-body issue."
