Traveling out of Wilmington Airport for Thanksgiving

Wilmington Airport in New Castle is the only airport offering nonstop service from Delaware to more than a dozen destinations, making the holidays a hectic time for the airport.

Last year, over 7,900 arriving and departing passengers traveled through ILG during Thanksgiving week. Wilmington Airport officials expect that number to grow by 15% this year due to an increase in weekly departures over last year.
