(CNN)– iPhone users now have a new way to present identification at U.S. airports.
Digital ID in Apple Wallet is now being tested at TSA checkpoints at more than 250 airports in the U.S.
Apple says you create the ID using your valid U.S. passport.
It works even if you do not have a Real ID-compliant driver’s license or state ID.
Digital ID does not replace a physical passport.
It cannot be used for international travel and border crossings.
