The Phoenix Suns recently played against the Indiana Pacers at PHX Arena. Star player Dillon Brooks delivered an impressive performance for the fans, playing for 28 minutes and scoring 32 points along with one rebound.
During the post-game interview, a reporter asked Brooks about the last time he felt underconfident on the court. Brooks responded by blaming the Memphis Grizzlies’ GM for undermining his confidence during the 2023 playoff clash against the Lakers.
“Probably the series against the (Los Angeles) Lakers (in 2023). I couldn’t shoot the ballS The GM was telling me to shoot 6 shots. Not giving me the confidence I needed. You can feel that from the front office and coaches, so never the players. But you feel that energy. Even if you’re working, you put in time, it’s just not fun.
