BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Walmart Chief Executive Officer Doug McMillon is set to retire next year, the company announced Friday.
The Bentonville, Arkansas-based retailer announced in a press release that McMillon is officially slated to retire on Jan. 31, 2026, though he will remain on the company's board of directors until the next shareholders' meeting in June. McMillon has been Walmart's CEO since 2014.
