'Do not travel' - train company issues warning as Storm Claudia batters West Country View Image

Passengers have been warned not to travel on trains all over the country as Storm Claudia wreaks havoc everywhere.

Train journeys have been cancelled, the M5 has been backed up with nearly two hours of delays and roads across the South West have been closed due to flooding.

Trains between Bristol Parkway and Gloucester have been cancelled due to flooding on the tracks.

One journey, which set out from Manchester earlier this afternoon, was turned around at Stroud as it was reportedly "not safe" to continue to Bristol.
