A bargain-hunting couple knew they had picked up something special at a recent yard sale, but one key detail made them realize just how special it was.
Francis Ebeck, from Ottawa, Canada , and her husband, John, have a pretty good eye when it comes to thrifting, but it is not something that came overnight. " The lucky finds are out there; you just have to be really dedicated to the hunt," Francis told Newsweek .
"John does about 20 hours per week thrifting and sourcing on top of working a full-time job. I put in about 35 hours per week researching, photographing, listing, packing and shipping our finds on top of working part-time and chasing our very busy 2-year-old daughter."
