ALLEN PARK -- Amik Robertson popped up on the injury report with a hamstring injury on Thursday, and Terrion Arnold continues to work through concussion protocol.

Despite veteran cornerback DJ Reed returning to practice this week, the Detroit Lions are not rushing him back to action to fill any void in the secondary.

Dan Campbell has targeted early December for Reed’s return to game action. And while it could come earlier than that, the Lions coach isn’t about to risk his top cornerback’s recovery from a hamstring injury to fill short-term holes.

“Well, I don’t see DJ yet,” Campbell said Friday. “I love where he’s at, man. He’s getting better.”

Reed’s return is a major re-addition coming for Detroit’s defense down the line.
