The Minnesota Twins have hired Keith Beauregard to be their new hitting coach, the Star-Tribune reported Thursday .
Beauregard, 42, spent three seasons with the Tigers before leaving the staff after the 2025 season. He was a minor-league hitting instructor for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2019-2020 and then assistant field coordinator in 2021-2022. Before that, he was an assistant coach at Santa Clara University and the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
The Tigers recently hired Cody Asche from the Orioles as an assistant hitting coach to fill one of the spots in the Tigers’ three-man hitting department.
Hitting coach Michael Brdar and assistant hitting coach Lance Zawadzki will return to the Tigers’ staff in 2026.
