LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) - After several recent health scares and with more than two decades in Lawrence under his belt, Kansas fans remain curious as to the future plans of head coach Bill Self.

Thursday night, one of the men who has spent the most time around him throughout his career provided some insight into how long he believes Self will keep coaching.

“I would probably guess maybe three to four more years,” former Kansas assistant coach Norm Roberts said on The Field of 68’s After Dark show when asked how much longer he believed Self would run the KU program.

Roberts, who just left the Jayhawks’ bench following the 2024-25 season, spent 37 seasons in college basketball and coached as an assistant with Self at Oral Roberts, Tulsa, Illinois and Kansas.
