BEREA — There was one expected name on the Browns ' injury report two days before they play the Baltimore Ravens . Then there were two names that were completely unexpected.
Defensive end Alex Wright was ruled out on Nov. 14 for the Week 11 home game. Wright had not practiced all week after sustaining a quad injury in the loss at the New York Jets.
Cornerback Denzel Ward and defensive tackle Maliek Collins, though, were surprise absentees from practice. Ward was listed as questionable because of an illness, and Collins suffered an oblique injury in the Nov. 14 practice. Buy Cleveland Browns tickets
The Browns will start Isaiah McGuire in Wright's place at the defensive end spot opposite Myles Garrett. McGuire has one sack and 18 tackles in nine games, including four starts.
