A winning holiday-themed lottery ticket worth $250,000 was sold at a Big Y grocery store in Western Massachusetts and claimed Thursday.

The grand prize was from “$250,000 Winter Winnings,” a scratch ticket game released for $20 per ticket on Oct. 14. The ticket features a picture of Santa Claus, green and red gift boxes and blue snowflakes.

This was just the sixth grand prize out of 39 total $250,000 prizes to be claimed in the game as of Nov. 14.

The winning ticket was sold at the Big Y grocery store located in Westfield.

Additionally, someone won $100,000 from the “Mass Cash” drawing on Thursday evening. The winning numbers for the drawing were 2, 18, 19, 28 and 30, and the winning ticket was sold at Holly Farms in Webster.
