PEORIA, Ill. – A 26-year-old man was arrested following a domestic disturbance at a Peoria hotel Thursday morning.
Peoria Police Spokesperson Semone Roth says officers were called to the area of W. Memorial Drive and Meadowbrook Road just after 7 a.m.
A 31-year-old woman told officers that the suspect, identified as Ignacio Arreguin, was inside a hotel room with three children, armed with a gun.
PPD tried to make contact with Arreguin, when he ran from the room. Officers quickly apprehended him without any further incident.
During a search of the hotel room, officers found illegal narcotics and a stolen handgun.
