COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A street in downtown Colorado Springs will be closed for two weeks for tree installation.

According to the City of Colorado Springs, Tejon Street, from Colorado Avenue to Kiowa Street, will be closed starting Monday.

Northbound and southbound Tejon Street from Colorado Avenue to Pikes Peak Avenue will be closed to traffic for up to two weeks starting Monday.

Northbound and southbound Tejon Street from Pikes Peak Avenue to Kiowa Street will likely receive its trees starting as soon as Dec. 1, the city said.

Parking will be available on nearby side streets and at the three City parking garages. Sidewalks and dining patios will remain open during construction.
