FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber is keeping an eye on the tropics, which have been quiet since Hurricane Melissa. He said cold fronts working their way through are keeping storms at bay. Weber added that wind shear in the atmosphere is so strong that anything will have a hard time even trying to develop. Weber said there are 16 days left in the 2025 hurricane season and dry air is settling in across most of the tropical Atlantic basin.
