KALAMAZOO, MI — Pour one out for Bell’s Eccentric Day.
A new “reimagined celebration” is taking its place at the Eccentric Cafe in place of the long-standing event.
Alec Williams, Bell’s communications manager, confirmed the change with the Kalamazoo Gazette/MLive on Friday, Nov. 14.
“We know Eccentric Day means a lot to our community; it does to us, too,” Williams said in an emailed statement. “That’s why we’ve taken time over the past year to reimagine it as a new celebration of community: Bellsgiving .
“(We are) partnering with seven incredible nonprofit organizations making a difference in our community and beyond in honor of National Philanthropy Day.”
The new Bellsgiving event is taking place from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the Eccentric Cafe, 355 E. Kalamazoo Ave.
