New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI) The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) has refused to renew the fire safety certificate of an annexe building at Talkatora stadium due to various “shortcomings” in its alarm systems, broken hydrants and smoke detectors, officials said on Friday.

In a letter written to the New Delhi Municipal Corporation of Delhi (NDMC) on Thursday, the DFS pointed out 12 shortcomings in the fire safety arrangements at the stadium’s annexe building.

The building was inspected by the DFS officials on November 6 in the presence of NDMC representatives. Show Full Article
