Emmerdale fans were in agreement as they worried for Robert Sugden following his decision to split with Kev Townsend.

Actor Ryan Hawley reprised his role as Robert Sugden earlier this year where he was first seen trying to put a stop to Aaron Dingle marrying his half-brother, John Sugden.

Until that moment, he had been absent from the Dales for six years following his prison sentence over the death of Lee Posner.
