LAKEWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- Life is short, so make it sweet and dig into lip-smacking desserts at Coco's Lip Smacking Cupcakes .

This dessert destination is located in the city of Lakewood at the Westlake Plaza.

Owner Nicole Green bakes it all, serving full cakes in several sizes, as well as a large variety of cookies and a delicious peach cobbler.

And of course, at Coco's Lip Smacking Cupcakes, red velvet is the top seller.

"I quickly learned there was not enough money in just cupcakes," Green said. "So, I taught myself how to do cakes and custom cakes, custom cupcakes and then slowly started adding on to my menu."
