4DELMAR, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of a Georgetown man Wednesday evening after his pickup truck left the roadway and struck a tree.

The crash occurred around 5:12 p.m. on November 13 as a GMC Sierra traveled northbound on Sussex Highway near West Snake Road.

Police said the vehicle crossed the median into the southbound lanes before running off the west side of the highway and colliding with a tree.
