President Donald Trump has responded to the recent release of Jeffrey Epstein’s emails by the the House Oversight Committee.

In a post on Truth Social Friday morning, Trump called the move a “hoax” by Democrats trying to deflect “from all of their bad policies and losses.”

“The Democrats are doing everything in their withering power to push the Epstein Hoax again, despite the DOJ releasing 50,000 pages of documents, in order to deflect from all of their bad policies and losses,” the post reads. “Especially the SHUTDOWN EMBARRASSMENT, where their party is in total disarray, and has no idea what to do.”

The emails , released Wednesday, include one Epstein wrote in which he told confidant Ghislaine Maxwell that Trump had “spent hours” at Epstein’s house with a sex trafficking victim
