MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A former Mississippi teacher, Wilson Jones, has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography after being accused of using AI to create sexually exploitative videos of students.

Jones, who previously taught at Corinth School District, was arrested in March. Corinth police identified eight female students, aged 14 to 16, as victims of AI-generated video footage depicting them in sexually exploitative acts. Authorities confirmed that the victims were never filmed, and the footage was entirely AI-generated.

Jones entered his guilty plea in a federal courthouse in Oxford on Friday. He faces a sentence of up to 10 years in prison and will be required to register as a sex offender. A sentencing date has not yet been scheduled.
