WASHINGTON — "Wicked" star Marissa Bode is speaking out about a recent incident involving her co-star Ariana Grande.
During the Singapore premiere of "Wicked: For Good," the second installment of the movie-musical, a man pushed through security on the yellow carpet and charged at Grande. In cellphone footage captured by fans waiting for autographs at the side of the yellow carpet, Erivo can be seen running from her place by Michelle Yeoh's side to stand in between Grande and the man running towards her, pushing the two apart.
Erivo and Yeoh then comforted the singer-actress.
Bode, who plays Nessa Thropp in the film, posted a video on Thursday addressing the incident.
