CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Border Patrol agents are expected to arrive in Charlotte this weekend , a move that’s stirring questions and concern as residents look to cities like Chicago for clues about what could happen next.
Border Patrol units have been operating in Chicago since September, where their presence sparked protests, tension, and confusion about their role in local enforcement.
