Oregon cross country won’t have to wait to learn its NCAA Championships qualifying fate.

The Ducks' men's and women's teams both automatically advanced into the national meet with their performances at the NCAA West Regional Friday, Nov. 14 at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento, Calif.

The Oregon men won the team title with a 55-point outing and the Oregon women were second with 75, nine points behind Stanford.

The top-two team finishers in Friday's nine NCAA regional meets qualified for the NCAA Championships being held Nov. 22 in Columbia, Mo. The 14 at-large team qualifiers will be announced Saturday.

Big Ten champion Abdel Laadjel led a trio of top-10 finishers for the Ducks as he completed the 10,000-meter race in sixth place in 29 minutes, 28.
