The unemployment rate for the region that includes Grey and Bruce counties fell by half a percentage point last month to become the lowest in the province.
With the decrease, the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region unemployment rate sits at 4.3 per cent, while the overall provincial rate also decreased last month, by 0.4 percentage points to sit at 7.9 per cent. Both rates are unadjusted for seasonality.
