High school boys soccer: Kingston’s Oxford among those named to the Section 9 all

KINGSTON, N.Y. — Kingston High junior Keegan Oxford is among those local players who were selected to the All-Section 9 boys soccer team by the section’s coaches.

Those selected for the All-Section team represented all the classes.

Oxford was a junior forward on the Tigers’ team that finished with a 13-4 record and advanced to the Section 9 Class AAA final, which they lost to Newburgh Free Academy.

Other local players on the All-Section team were New Paltz’s Caesar Baker and Luc Saguilan, Mount Academy’s Michael Meier, Rondout Valley’s Elias Curran and Oleh Shulha, Mason Tiano of Saugerties, Wallkill’s Alex deCastro and Highland’s Kieran Surprise.

Seniors David Martinez and Santi Romero-Lopez joined Oxford on the All-Class AAA team.
