ATLANTA — Georgians who have been waiting for their full November SNAP benefits are expected to receive them soon, according to officials.
The Georgia Department of Human Services said it has received new directives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture following the end of the government shutdown.
"SNAP recipients whose distribution dates have already passed and who received partial benefits will receive the remainder of their allotment by Tuesday, November 18," officials said. "All other SNAP benefits will be issued in full according to the normal issuance schedule for the remainder of the month. "
