BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office reports a significant law enforcement presence in part of an active investigation on Friday.

Deputies were responding to the Brevard Road area around 2 p.m.

Officials asked community members to choose alternate routes while driving to allow deputies to work safely and without delay.
