President Donald Trump referred to the Republican Party as the “Party of Affordability” on Friday, a week after calling affordability a “dead” matter for Democrats.

His remarks come after Democratic candidate s secured sweeping victories in the 2025 elections, which were partly due to their attacks on Trump’s claim of a “golden age” of American economic dominance.
