The Tennessee Aquarium will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its new S.T.R.E.A.M. Learning Center next week.

Tennessee Aquarium spokesperson Alison Pryor says the S.T.R.E.A.M, or Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Art and Math Learning Center, houses three classrooms for school groups to dive deeper in the Aquarium’s educational programs during field trips and camps throughout the year.

Representatives from the Aquarium, Unum, and Hamilton County Schools will be at the celebration.

The ceremony will be Thursday, November 20 at 1:00pm on the Aquarium Plaza, across from Ocean Journey’s entrance.
