Wisconsin might soon be getting double the locations of a popular fast-food chicken restaurant.
Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers , which was established in Louisiana in the '90s, plans to open about eight new restaurants across Wisconsin "long-term," the company said in a statement.
The chain first came to the state in 2021, with a location on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. A Kenosha location opened in 2023, and the first Milwaukee County Raising Cane's opened in Greendale in July 2024 . As of October 2025, there are seven locations in Wisconsin, including Milwaukee-area locations in Greendale and Brookfield, with an eighth location the Wausau area in the works.
Raising Cane's didn't specify how long it expects until it reaches its goal of having "roughly 15" restaurants i
