ROCHESTER — The city School Board announced at its Nov. 13 meeting interim Superintendent Jared Fulgoni has been hired for the job. His new contract runs until the end of the 2028-2029 school year.

Fulgoni had been hired as the interim leader in June, coming to Rochester from MSAD63 School District in Holden, Maine. He began there as an interim superintendent, too, a job that expanded to three years. He was hired as the interim superintendent in June, replacing Annie Azarloza .
