EUGENE, Ore. - New details have emerged regarding the charges against former Lane County paramedic Larry Merrill Jr.
According to Eugene police, Merrill was arrested in early September and charged with 10 counts of first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse. The investigation began after three reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led police to alleged child pornography on Merrill's cloud accounts. A week later, Merrill faced additional charges, including four counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
