CORINTH, Maine — Maine State Police arrested a man from Connecticut on charges related to a homicide in Corinth.
On Sept. 21, Maine State Police responded to a residence on Main Street in Corinth after receiving reports of gunshots heard in the area, according to a press release from Maine Department of Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss.
When troopers arrived, they found Michael McGregor, 32, injured outside the residence. He was flown to a local hospital, where he received medical treatment for gunshot wounds, Moss said.
When troopers entered a nearby apartment, they discovered Scott Roberts, 46, of Glenburn, dead, according to the press release. Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit North and members of the Evidence Response Team responded to investigate.
