The Good Medicine Indigenous Music Festival is happening this weekend, the first event of its kind in the city. Curated by Houston composer and musician Aryn Ward (Mvskoke/Yuchi), the festival brings together Native American musical voices from across the country, creating a platform where classical, traditional, and experimental Indigenous music can share space with community storytelling, connection, and celebration.

Watch an interview with Aryn Ward here: Sign up for the Hello, Houston! daily newsletter to get local reports like this delivered directly to your inbox.

The festival features an extraordinary all-Indigenous lineup of performers and composers representing ten different tribal nations.
