HENDERSON CO., Ky. (WFIE) - The last victim to be released from the hospital after the Niagara house explosion says they are taking it one day at a time.

The fire happened on October 25.

Officials say it’s being investigated as an explosion caused by a gas leak.

Harold Dover, the owner of the house, says, when he went to light the furnace, it “blew up on me.”

Dover, who spent three weeks in a Louisville burn unit, says all he could think of in that moment was to get his girlfriend and his six-year-old daughter to safety.
