DANVERS — The Police Department announced Wednesday it has been awarded $41,348 in National Highway Traffic Safety Administration funding through the fiscal 2026 Municipal Road Safety Program.

In announcing the grants, Danvers police Chief James P. Lovell said they will support the department’s ongoing efforts to improve roadway safety and reduce motor vehicle crashes in the community.
