Sao Paulo midfielder Oscar continues to remain in hospital in stable condition after being diagnosed with vasovagal syncope, his club Sao Paulo announced on Thursday, while adding that the Brazilian will undergo further tests.
Oscar was taken to the Albert Einstein Hospital after suffering a heart issue on Tuesday. The former Chelsea player was training on an exercise bike while undergoing physical testing when he collapsed and was unconscious for two minutes, a report on a Brazilian publication read.
Oscar has been diagnosed with Vasovagal syncope, a common fainting condition caused by a sudden drop in heart rate and blood pressure.
