Grief and shock of losing three young people in a crash east of Hanover, and hope for a fourth in critical condition this week, have re-opened wounds from a similar fatal crash which killed four local students and their teacher in May.

West Grey police are still investigating Tuesday’s single-vehicle collision east of Hanover about noon involving the four John Diefenbaker Senior School students. The survivor was last reported in critical but stable condition. All are 15 to 17 years old.
