SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Near record warmth through early next week followed by a severe weather threat.
A great evening for Friday night football with mostly clear skies and temperatures hovering around 70 during the games. Later tonight, some low clouds and patchy fog will develop and it will stay very warm with overnight lows in the upper 50s and low 60s.
The upcoming weekend looks fantastic for any outdoor activities with the warm and dry pattern continuing. Highs both Saturday and Sunday will soar into the low and mid 80s with overnight lows in the 60s.
Unseasonable warmth and increasingly humid conditions will carry into early next week. In fact, record setting warmth is now looking likely for Monday and Tuesday with highs in the mid 80s!
